As a kid I used to go roller skating at one one my favourite roller-rink hangouts all the time... They had food, video games, and a great light show, with the best music of the 70s... They had the snowball skate, where boys and girls would stand on either side of the rink, then be brave and cross over to take someone by the hand and skate with them for a song or two. XD I was both the hand giver and hand taker... yet shy like crazy :P

The roller-rink would have little song naming contests all the time. I won a couple by knowing the song and artist, then racing up to the dj booth to name it before other kids. I won a few 45s this way, but one of my favourites was Rapture, by Blondie. I played the hell out of that thing.
